About Us

Inspiring Strong, Confident and Healthy Kids

Inspire Nevada Athletics was founded by Greg and Farrah Haugen with a mission to create a safe, positive, and inclusive place where every child can experience the benefits of movement.

Located in Reno, Nevada, Inspire offers youth fitness, tumbling, and All-Star Cheer programs for children of all ages and ability levels. We welcome competitive athletes working toward advanced goals as well as children who are still discovering how much fun being active can be.

Our knowledgeable and caring coaches focus on proper technique, safe skill development, confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits. We believe success looks different for every child, which is why we meet athletes at their current level and celebrate their individual progress.

At Inspire, we are building more than strong athletes. We are helping children develop resilience, courage, friendships, and a lifelong love of movement. Every child deserves a place to feel supported, challenged, included, and proud—and that is what we strive to provide every day.

Our Story

Inspire Nevada Athletics began with a simple belief: every child deserves a place where they can feel strong, capable, and successful through fitness and movement.

As parents and coaches, Greg and Farrah Haugen saw that many children did not have a space where fitness was taught in a fun, safe, and age-appropriate way. Traditional sports can be a wonderful fit for some kids, but not every child connects with a team sport or feels confident in a competitive environment. They wanted to create a place where all children would feel welcome regardless of their experience, athletic ability, or starting point.

With their shared passion for youth development, fitness, tumbling, and cheer, Greg and Farrah founded Inspire Nevada Athletics. Their vision was to provide more than classes. They wanted to create a community where children could explore movement, discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop healthy habits that would stay with them throughout their lives.

As Inspire has grown, so have its programs and coaching team. What began as a vision for youth fitness has developed into a supportive home for tumbling, All-Star Cheer, athletic performance, and fitness education. Although the gym continues to grow, its purpose remains the same: to meet every child where they are, help them recognize what they are capable of, and inspire them to keep moving forward.

At Inspire, we are not only developing athletes. We are helping raise confident, resilient, healthy young people and that is the heart of everything we do.

He attended the University of Oregon and has continued to expand his expertise through advanced professional education. Greg is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, Certified Youth Fitness Coach, CrossFit Kids Coach, and Certified Overtime Athletes (OTA) Coach. As Inspire Nevada Athletics has grown, Greg has made continued education and the development of his high-level tumbling knowledge a major professional focus. Over the past several years, he has dedicated significant time to expanding his understanding of advanced tumbling technique, skill progressions, body mechanics, strength development, mindset and safe coaching practices. His commitment to continued learning allows him to provide athletes with knowledgeable, detail-oriented instruction while safely guiding them from foundational skills to more advanced tumbling. Greg combines his knowledge of movement mechanics, strength development, conditioning, nutrition, and injury-conscious training to create programs that are safe, effective, and appropriate for growing athletes. Whether he is coaching advanced tumbling skills, developing strength and athletic performance, or helping a child discover confidence through movement, Greg is committed to meeting every athlete at their current level and helping them progress with purpose. Greg and his wife, Farrah, founded Inspire Nevada Athletics after recognizing the need for a safe and supportive place where children could receive knowledgeable, age-appropriate fitness coaching. Their vision was to create an environment where every child belongs—not only competitive athletes, but also children who may not connect with traditional sports or who are still learning to enjoy physical activity. Although Greg has a passion for helping athletes reach higher levels of performance, some of his most meaningful work is with children who have struggled to find confidence or enjoyment in movement. His fun, encouraging, and safety-focused coaching style helps kids feel successful while developing strength, coordination, resilience, healthy habits, and a positive relationship with fitness that can last a lifetime.

She holds multiple coaching credentials through the U.S. All Star Federation (USASF) and continues to expand her knowledge of cheerleading technique, tumbling progressions, athlete development, routine preparation, and safe coaching practices. Her experience allows her to guide athletes from their first introduction to cheer through the demands of competitive All-Star programs. She understands that every athlete learns differently and works to create an environment that is encouraging, structured, and focused on steady progress. Together, they founded Inspire Nevada Athletics to provide a safe and inclusive space where children can become stronger, develop new skills, build meaningful relationships, and discover a form of movement they truly enjoy. Farrah takes great pride in helping athletes recognize their own potential—whether they are learning their first tumbling skill, discovering a love for fitness, or stepping onto the competition floor with their team.
